One of my favourite foods are pickles.  Love them for any time of day!  The vinegar substitutes for salt, and since I should probably stop pouring salt on everything, they are a good alternative.
It’s cheap enough to buy copious quantities of pickled cucumbers, but there is nothing more homey than hand-jarred canning.

I need to find a recipe for creating crunchy, homemade pickles.  Currently trying the following:

 Servings + Ingredient e Edit All
10 lb pickles (scrubed)
1 bunch fresh dill
12 cup mustard seeds
30 peppercorns
15 garlic cloves (fresh)
25 tbsp pickling salt
1 cup vinegar
